I was a Eucharistic Minister at Mass this past weekend, and I was given the cup to distribute. I was so focused on our hands as we exchanged the cup so as to not drop it and spill the Blood of Christ all over the carpet. My nerves always get high when I am the cup because I am notorious for spilling. I caught myself in these thought processes and I decided to shift my mind to praying for those receiving the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Christ. As I was praying, I witnessed a woman consume the the host and tears flowed down her cheeks as she drank from the cup I handed her.
